What Our Customers Say

"We were deeply worried about hiring a contractor because of bad experiences in the past. Jefferson and his crew at CHJ Construction were an absolute breath of fresh air. They communicated with us every single day, showed up on time, and turned our old, rotting wood platform into the deck of our dreams. The final result is stunning!"

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jefferson was great to work with, honest, and transparent. His team did a great job on my deck and he has fixed a few other things around the house for me as well.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend CHJ Construction. Jefferson is easy to work with and he was able to complete and pass inspections of our two story deck in only two weeks. 5 stars!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jefferson reconstructed my porch roof and went beyond high quality. My house needs a lot of work, and some of the other craftsmen who were around were in awe of his attention to detail. One pointed out that very few people bother to glue supports these days, so I should be impressed that he was doing it. Personally, I didn't know those little details, but I could see the work was done with meticulous care and pride. Jefferson also is a kind person and great to speak with. He makes sure to be realistic when discussing timelines and the work needed. I already have plans to use CHJ to redo my kitchen!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We worked with Jefferson two years ago on a complete rebuild of our roof deck while being contracted through another company. Jefferson was professional, honest, communicative, and kept us up-to-date on projected timelines. Something that stood out most to us was how candid and realistic he was about our project and the reason certain decisions were made. Jefferson was on site almost everyday making sure the work was done properly. As we scope out additional projects, we would happily have Jefferson and his team back again given how great an experience it was working with him previously

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jefferson was wonderful to work with. He built a bead board accent wall in my guest room. It turned out even better than imagined. I’ll definitely hire him again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. CHJ Construction is who we call on for any home improvement or repair jobs—the owner is a real craftsman who cares about quality. I’ve owned and sold several homes over the years and I am thankful that we can depend on CHJ’s judgment and expertise to complete the job right the first time.
